ITM University, Gurgaon student as the winner of National Mobile App Contest
ITM University (previously known as Institute of Technology and Management) is said to be an independent and privately owned university positioned in Gurgaon, and was discovered by Educate India Society in the year 1996 under the registration of Registration of Societies Act of 1860 as an Engineering Institute with an aim of imparting approachable technical education to students and aspirants all over India. The college was formerly conglomerated under Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and currently functions under the cknowledgement of UGC & Bar council of India. The University administers 4 schools i.e. School of Engineering & Technology, School of Management, School of Law, School of Professional Attachment, and a Centre for Lingoes Learning offering UGC approved courses at UG, PG and PhD base, such as M.Tech, B.Tech, Ph.D. (all engineering disciples), Applied Sciences, BSc Mathematics (Hons), MSc Mathematics, MBA, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, BBA, B.Com (Hons), BSc Economics (Hons), BBA-LLB (Hons.), Master of Laws (LLM) and PhD (Law).
Times App Search Contest is known to be the yearly contest conducted at distinctive venues and is popularly known to be a country-wide mobile app idea contest, which appreciates and invites the original innovations and achievements in the sector of IT for the “Next Big App”, and is open for participants of all age groups. This year, the final round was organized under the management and hospitality of LeMeriden Hotel, New Delhi on March 26, 2015.
Pranav Jain, B. Tech CSE 2nd year student of ITM University, Gurgaon, was announced the proud winner of “Best Mobile App Idea” conducted under the directive of Times App Search Contest. He was bestowed by Certificate of Gold, Winner’s Trophy and Apple Macbook Air for his presentation and confidence on March 26, 2015! He developed an app called ‘PassKey’, which provides an altered way of organizing and supervising passwords and keys for various installed applications. He was the youngest of all, and came to the contest with Parichay Tayal, B.Tech CSE 2nd year as a member of the team. He brought pride and laurels to the institution, and has promised to keep his mind sharp and open for unlimited floating ideas.
