B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Vandalur (BSARU), formerly known as B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College has been established under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. B.S. Abdur Rahman University is situated in the outskirts of Chennai city on the G.S.T. Road.
B.S. Abdur Rahman University (BSAU), Chennai invites application from aspirants for admission into 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course offered in various disciplines and 5 years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programs for the session 2015.
Eligibility for BSAU, Chennai:
B.Tech Programs: Aspirants must have passed 12th standard examination conducted by State board, CBSE, ICSE or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
For Biotechnology Programs: Aspirants must have minimum 50% aggregate in Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Students appearing for 10+2 examination in March or April 2015 are eligible to apply.
For B.Arch Program: Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Mathematics and English. Candidates must have passed National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).Students appearing for 10+2 examination in March or April 2015 is eligible to apply.
How to Apply for BSAU, Chennai:
- Candidates who want to apply online can make payment of Rs. 600 / in favor of ‘B.S.Abdur Rahman University’ payable at Chennai to the Director (admissions).
- Application forms can also be obtained in person from the University Admission Office, on payment of Rs 600/- by cash or DD drawn in favor of B.S.Abdur Rahman University.
- All the students can get application form through post by sending a request letter with a DD for Rs.600/- drawn in favor of ‘B.S. Abdur Rahman University’ payable at Chennai to the Director (admissions).
Selection Procedure for BSAU, Chennai:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the B.S. Abdur Engineering Entrance Examination (BSAUEEE 2015) conducted by the institute.
