JEE Mains Results Out!!


The results for the IIT JEE Mains examination have been declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education on 27th April 2015. The students can obtain the results by visiting the official website of the CBSE. The students can do so by entering their JEE Mains roll number as well as their date of birth. By computing the composite scores of the candidates in JEE Mains and results of class XII Board exams the declaration of All India Rank for JEE Mains 2015 will be done. Based on this result a centralized counseling process will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. The candidates will be called in for the admission process for the academic programs offered at IITs, NITs, IIITs and Govt. funded technical institutes. A total of 88 institutes will be participating in this process.

 

The cutoff score for candidates belonging to different categories have also been declared. The candidates belonging to general category must obtain a minimum score of 105 in JEE Mains 2015. The students belonging to OBC-NCL Category must have a minimum score of 70. The candidates belonging to SC and ST categories must have a minimum score of 50 and 44 respectively.


 The candidates wishing to appear for IIT JEE Advance must be among the top 1,50,000 candidates in ITT JEE Mains. The Application procedure for IIT JEE Advance will begin from 2nd May 2015 and will last till 7th May 2015. The application procedure will be only held in online mode. The candidates can start to download the admit card for the examination starting from 11th May 2015 to 14th May 2015. The examination will be held on 24th May 2015. JEE Advanced will have two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted between 09:00 to 12:00 IST and Paper 2 will be conducted between 14:00 to 17:00 IST.
