BITSAT 2015 begun from 14th May, 2015
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is an entrance test conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) for engineering students. The BITS institute is an all India Institute for higher education. The mission of this institute is to educate students in the field of science and technology. It was founded by the incredible efforts of Mr. Ghanshyam Das Birla and was established in 1964. This Institute is located in Pilani, Rajasthan. The motto of Birla Institute of Technology and Science is, “Knowledge is Power”. The Chancellor and the Vice chancellor of BITS are Mr. K.M .Birla and Mr. BN Jain respectively. The university has 15 academic departments which focus on undergraduate education in engineering and sciences. This institute is widely popular among students for engineering and is known as the best private engineering institute of India. There are three campuses of BITS which are located in three different places such as Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
BITSAT 2015 has begun from 14th May, 2015
The competitive examination is scheduled to be conducted from May 14 to May 19. The candidates who clear the exam will be eligible to get admissions into various courses, such as BE (Hons), B.Pharm (Hons), M.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc (Tech). It is a computer based exam. The last date for submitting the applications was 20th February, and the applicants were allowed choose their exam date & time till 20th March. The admit cards were released on 15th April. Around 1.8 lakh students are appearing for the online tests for nearly 2,000 seats available in BITS. The Students holding an international passport and having a valid SAT score have the option to take admission under the 'International Students Scheme'.
