JEE Advanced 2015: Toppers' tips to crack JEE Advanced

The date for the most sought after engineering entrance exam JEE Advanced 2015, is closing up. The exam that opens gateway to IITs is scheduled for 24th May. As a preparation measure, students must:

  • Analyze their preparation level.
  • Get a Personalized Improvement plan.
  • Track their progress.

Sai Chetan Chithakindi, gives credit to systematic preparation plan and regular study hours. He says that suggestions and guidance provided by teachers always acts as a key factor behind someone’s performance.

''I invested 4 hours in daily routine classes and rest 6 hours for self study'', says Sai Chetan. He says advocating the need for coaching classes that,''One can secure an ordinary rank with self-study. My preparation was at an average level when I started preparing for JEE Advanced but my coaching institute with their preparations led my path reach to IIT Mumbai''.

Govind Lahoti, attributes his remarkable success consistency, "There was no specific strategy that I followed for the exam other than being consistent in studies. I just kept on learning new concepts under the guidance of my teachers''. A disciplined self -study was according to him the key mantra.

Govind adds, '' Treat your studies as any other activity of the day and eventually you will start enjoying it. Do not get bored of your books as they are your true friends and companions''.

Shubham Goel, says it is important to take a break from the hectic schedule for studies and indulge in recreational activities to get more focused on exam preparation. Shubham suggests that, "Self-discipline, faith in yourself and hard work are the only factors responsible for cracking JEE Advanced exam''. He further says that ''Always compete with yourself first and then with other candidates'', advices Shubham. He mentions preparing a strict study schedule, ''Always dedicate your 100% time and energy in your studies. Studying this way can help aspirants to fetch high score in JEE Main and JEE Advanced''.
