CBSE 10th Board Exam Results: Girls Outshone Boys Once Again
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the 10th board results yesterday at 2 pm. The students had been waiting for that time anxiously for a long time. Although the board has assured that this year, the board has dedicated string servers to handle the website traffic but due to heavy traffic, the board website http://cbseresults.nic.in was down for some time. Later on, this error had been recovered.
This year over 13 lakhs students had participated in 10th board examination. The passing percentage is in favor of the students as more than 97.32% students have passed the examination. Whereas the passing percentage of girls is 97.82 and that of the boys is 96.98.
As per records, 94,474 students have scored 10 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Points Average). Out of this, 49,392 were girls and 45,082 were boys.
Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has congratulated the students via a post on twitter. He has posted, “To all my young friends who passed the CBSE Class X exams- Congratulations & best wishes for the continuing academic journey.”
