AIMPT re-exam within four weeks - Supreme Court orders CBSE
All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) 2015 is a national level examination conducted under the administration of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and is supervised at every level under the directive of Supreme Court & the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The entrance exam opens the gate to admissions in acclaimed Medical/Dental Colleges of India and marks 15% merit admissions within the colleges itself.
In the current year 2015, AIPMT has been under speculations regarding practice of unfair means and discrepancies, and upcoming results have been halted due to the recent verdict announced by the Supreme Court on 15th June, according to which it has ordered CBSE to organize the exam again after 4 weeks, with 6.3 lakhs students to appear again. This news came as a shock for the students, as they are now stressed over completing the syllabus on a whole, and are very much doubtful over the difficulty level of the exam now conducted.
Accordingly, 44 students were found guilty of misusing invalid means, and Supreme Court has ordered the conducting faculties to keep a severe eye over the aspirants, must check every detail before allowing them to sit in the exam and must follow the rules and regulations.
