IIM students petition for new MBA criteria
More than 400 graduated individuals and students of the prestigious IIM business colleges have requested the Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi to roll out improvements in the criteria for granting MBA degrees in the nation as the legislature is setting up another panel of standards and genre for IIMs.
The aspirants quoted that the degrees which are honored at IIMs must be at standards with the worldwide organizations, along with that, Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree must be provided just for one-year programs and the two-year courses must be for the Masters in Business Management (MBM). The petition was directed towards the Prime Minister Modi and to the Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani, and has been carried through 'oneyearMBA.co.in'. The participants include pupils and scholars from IIMs in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore and Lucknow, among others.
The government is taking every possible step in order to figure out the new ways to bring upon significant changes, and provide a worthy and universally-acclaimed knowledge and professional experience. A bill has been drafted for the public consultations.
Shikhar Mohan, the website's initiator, quoted that they have filed for the petition, and Modi government has taken the topic seriously and are trying to carry out actions which meet the demands and requirements of Management aspirants.
