IIT JEE ADVANCED 2015 RESULTS DECLARED


On a very recent note, IIT has revealed the results for JEE Advanced 2015 on Wednesday, 17th June 2015 and requests the appearing candidates to log onto to the website and check the list. IIT-JEE Advanced 2015 is another landmark of IIT, and is a well-known entrance test conducted nationally for admissions into popular technology and engineering institutes. JEE Advanced 2015 was organized on May 24.

According to the list and statistics revealed by IIT-Bombay (main conducting body), en estimate of 26,456 out of the 1, 17,238 candidates qualify for admission procedures into Indian Institute of Technology branches and NITs. This year’s All-India topper turned out to be Satvat Jagwani of Satna, Madhya Pradesh, who appeared from IIT-Kanpur district and notched 469 out of 504, one of the finest scores. Second and third positions are scored by Janak Agarwal and Mukesh Pareekh, both locals of Indore.

Amongst the Scheduled Castes candidates, Turaka Bhavan topped the All-India merit with 39th rank, and Harsh Meena (rank 633) scored best amongst ST candidates and Chinamaya Kumar Sahoo from Pune amongst Other Backward Classes-Persons with Disabilities (OBC-PwD) category. On a contrary basis, 23,407 male candidates excelled in qualifying the exam outstripping 3,049 female candidates.

IIT Bombay topped the charts with maximum numbers of topped and excelled candidates and maintained its reputation as always. This year, the results and marks of JEE Advanced 22015 will also be used as an eligibility criteria for admissions by Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Rae Bareli (RGIPT) and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram.

The procedure of integrated allocation for 32,000 seats presented by 88 institutes, which further involves Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institute of Technology ( NITs) and other technical institutes (entirely or partially financed by Central or State Governments) will initiate through a common online gateway starting from June 25.
