CBSE to Tie Up with NSE over Financial Training Workshop
In order to establish a standardized level of financial education and academic amenities, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to collaborate with National Stock Exchange (NSE) to impart quality training and professional exposure to the students with best infrastructure and classroom modules as well as practical sessionals. Trained teachers will deliver the knowledge gained to 9 and 10 class students.
Across this nation, teachers from 15,000 schools will volunteer in this training proposition conducted by both National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). With the help of this, they will be able to impart knowledge on the subject Financial Market Management, soon to be introduced as an occupational topic under the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) at Level I and Level II to the curriculum from the 2015-16 academic sessions.
The first batch will commence from Saturday, 27th June 2015. As quoted by Managing Director and CEO Chitra Ramkrishna,” The course will help spread financial literacy, thus creating stronger roots and renovating India into an economic super power.”
