First cut-off list for DU admission touches 100 per cent-mark
Once again, the admission scenarios in Delhi University for its undergraduate courses has touched up to 100%, with cut-offs rising higher than ever and reaching up to the maximum for BSc (Computer Science) course in two colleges. For this academic season 2015-16, university had received an estimated 3.7 lakh applications, and admission process has started.
College of Vocational Studies and Indraprastha College for Women released their 100 per cent cut-off list for bachelor program in computer science for candidates of general category, and several other colleges has soared up to 99% as well.
Moti Lal Nehru College delivered its first cut-off for B.Com (Honors) at 99.5 per cent, while Maitreyi College has kept at 99 for B.Com. Some of the colleges stopping at 99 include Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm (ARSD) College, Ram Lal Anand College, PGDAV College, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Science for Women for Computer Science.
Hindu reached out for 98 for Economics, 97.75 for English, History and Political Science and 97.25 for B.Com Honors, SRCC at 98.25 for Economics Honors and 97.37 for B.Com Honors. Several commerce programs at numerous colleges saw the cut-offs stopping at 90% and above, such as SGGS College of Commerce at 97%, SGTB Khalsa 96.7%, SGND Khalsa 94%, Shivaji College 97%, Shyama Prasad Mukehrjee College 93%, Shyam Lal and Aurobindo College 94%..
