IIT Kharagpur wooing students through YouTube
In lieu of the admissions that lie ahead in regard with the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has taken a step dynamic forward to encouraging the potential aspirants through online schemes and solves the students’ queries and admission related programs.
With the website just launched (why.iitkgp.ac.in) and a diverse initiative of debuting a YouTube channel, they are deliberately trying to impress and encourage students by hosting the institute’s achievements, immaculate employment archives and speculative atmosphere.
YouTube channel offers live campus tours, services and offered infrastructure, which is gaining potential and popularity, and has gained a count till 23,000.
Atal Ashutosh Agarwal, the Students’ Vice President of IIT Kharagpur, was quoted saying,” Most students have the same question related to placement. Based on the past records, it's evident that those who have maintained their academic score (CGPA) above 7.5 in any of the disciplines and participated in various extra-curricular activities at IIT Kharagpur, get an average salary in the range of 9-12 lakh per annum."
He also said that earning an efficient rank in the JEE exam will proficiently ensure admission into a great department, but a productive placement would depend upon the CGPA score.
Ono an updated note, the first round of Seat Allocation for admission process into 87 institutes, including IITs took its launch today, and the second one will be conducted on July 11 respectively.
