Ambedkar University: first list out, admission till Sat
The first cutoff list for the undergraduate courses offered by the Ambedkar University has been released on Tuesday night. Seven undergraduate courses are offered by the university. 90%-95% cutoff has been registered for BA (H) with major in social science and humanities, and sociology for the general category.
The cutoffs for the candidates outside Delhi are higher than cutoffs for the candidates from Delhi. A minimum of 92% is required in the aggregate of the best of four subjects by the candidates from arts stream, 96% for candidates from science stream and 97% for applicants from commerce stream.
A minimum of 65% must be scored by all candidates in English in class XII. The cutoff range for English (H) is 92%-97%, History (H) is 87%-92% and Economics (H) is 89%-94% for the candidates from Delhi. However, for the candidates from outside Delhi, the cutoff for English (H) is 95%-100%, History (H) is 94%-99% and Economics (H) is 91%-96%.
The admissions to the undergraduate courses can be taken by the candidates from July 9 to July 11 after verification of documents and payment of fees from 10 am to 4 pm. Original certificates have to be carried by the candidates, which shall be returned after the verification.
The second cutoff shall be declared on July 13, 2015.
