Special educators to be recruited by CBSE for students with learning disabilities
Special teachers are to be recruited by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in a move to impart quality education to the students with special learning disabilities.
To provide better learning opportunities to the students with special learning disabilities and also to achieve its vision of supporting these students for their academic and extracurricular growth, the Board has decided to recruit special teachers who can act as facilitators for better learning by understanding their problems and requirements and thereby establishing a better communication with such students.
CBSE has asked all schools to mandatorily appoint a special educator to help the students in dealing with learning disabilities. The eligibility criteria guidelines for recruiting special educators have been provided to the schools by the Board.
