IIT-Patna campus inaugurated by PM Modi on July 25
Being one of the auspicious events in the academic history, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the brand new Indian Institute of Technology-Patna (IIT-P) campus on July 25.
IIT-P registrar Subhash Pandey was heard quoting, "As per the information given by the officials from ministry of human resource development, Modi will inaugurate the IIT-P campus." The campus will be situated at Bihta, 35 km west and apart from carrying out a marvelous induction, PM Modi will be speaking in a public gathering the same day in Muzaffarpur.

According to IIT-Patna registrar, Subhash Pandey, he invested the information, stating that, “We will send the detailed schedule to the ministry hopefully on Monday and wait for the final concurrence, along with a minute-to-minute program of the Prime Minister. As of now, we have been communicated that the whole program should be of 60-90 minutes. The ministry will communicate to us the time slot after consultation with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).”
So, as per the new schedule, the potential academic session, course registration and introduction will be instigated from July 22 and classes would start from July 26. The temporary campus in Patliputra is being shifted to its perpetual residence at Bihta.
