Odisha supplementary exam results announced with 28.52% clearance
With Odisha’s matriculation supplementary examination results announcement, the passing rates has been a token of appreciation since the last year.
With an overall of 16,129 students, 4,563 passed the supplementary exam, documenting a total passing percentage of 28.52, comparatively better to last year, which was 24.4%.
The results were announced on Wednesday by the President of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) D P Nanda. Out of 18, 000 registrations, 16,000 appeared for the examination.
Marking and evaluation of the answer sheets were accomplished in two days on July 3 and 4 itself. Nanda was quoted saying that necessary measures have been made to report mark sheets and migration certificates to the schools under the Board’s affiliation by 20th July, so that students can move forward for admissions in Plus II streams.
Nanda stated that, "Our motive was to save a precious year of the students. It is matter of immense pleasure that we have managed to publish the results in time." The examination was conducted between June 22 and June 29 at 61 centres all across the state.
