25% seats increased in government colleges by Rajasthan Govt.
A relief to students seeking admission to undergraduate courses
The Rajasthan state Government, on Thursday, passed an approval for increasing 25% seats in government colleges, as the state had been dealing with the seat shortage problem for a long time. This was a long due action that will definitely bring relief to the students of the state.
Kalicharan Saraf, State’s Higher Education Minister says that 25% more seats will be made available for the students seeking admissions for undergraduate courses in science, commerce and arts streams in government colleges. Students must fill the application forms for admissions.
Saraf said youths and students have been asking the department to address this issue. The students who did not find their names in the admissions list so far may find hope in the upcoming ones, he said.
