New Education Schemes to be implemented by Bihar Government
In making an intriguing effort to extend academic benefits and societal welfare modules to all castes, Bihar Government has laid down regulations to issue liable caste certificates to people belonging to either of the Hindu upper castes such as Rajputs, Brahmins, Kayasthas and Muslim upper castes- Sheikh, Sayyed and Pathan.
Bihar State Upper Caste Commission strongly supported and endorsed the proposal, and stated that the benefits of the modules must be liberating and must pass on to the poor from the upper castes.
Accordingly, any candidate hailing from a family with a total earning of less than Rs 1.5 lakh will be provided with Rs 10,000 on clearing Class 10 exam with first division. Along with this, the poor upper caste students from Class 1 to Class 10 will be certified with scholarships ranging from Rs 600 to Rs 1,800 yearly.
With a total of Rs 100.12 Crores planned aside for the scheme, Bihar Govt. has been planning to implement the initiative as soon as possible with instant result.
