UPSC exam mark sheets in public domain; topper scores 53 percent
The mark sheets of the successful candidates as well as the ones who could not find success in the civil services examination 2014 have been made public by the Union Public Service Commission.
The UPSC administers the civil services examination annually in three stages which are: preliminary, mains and interviews. The selection of candidates for Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Foreign Services (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others, will be done through this examination.
The topper of civil services 2014 exam, Ira Singhal from Delhi scored a total of 1082 marks out of 2025 marks (53.43%). The second rank holder, Renu Raj from Kerala scored 1056 marks (52.14%) and was followed by Nidhi Gupta who scored 1025 marks (50.61%).
The strict pattern of evaluation done for selecting countries topmost bureaucrats can be seen in the results scored by the candidates.
