DU: All 2nd-year students to be promoted
The mayhem in Delhi University’s undergraduate courses goes on for the third year. The introduction of the semester system in 2009-10, the disorder began. The situation worsened with the introduction of four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP) by DU in 2013-14.
This year another major change has been brought in by the university. On Monday Choice-Based Credit System was introduced which will replace the semester system.
A circular was released by the Delhi University, last week, to notify the second-year students that all who has failed were being promoted. Chances are that similar notification shall be released for the students of first year as well.
The students being promoted must have to clear their backlogs in the academic session 2015-16. Three major changes have been introduced by the university in the span of three years. This move will bring relief and also save one year of the students who failed in of the first-year.
