IIT-Patna campus to be inaugurated by PM Modi on July 25
The inauguration of the new campus of Indian Institute of Technology-Patna will be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 25.
IIT-P’s registrar Subash Pandey, on the basis of the information provided by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, said that Narendra Modi will inaugurate IIT’s campus at Patna.
The campus is spread in an area of over 500 acres near Bihta. Pandey said that the college would start functioning from its permanent campus.
The academic session 2015-16 of IIT-P will begin from July 22 and the classes will start from July 26.
Modi will be addressing a public meeting in Muzaffarpur district, after the inauguration, to initiate the BJP campaign for Bihar assembly polls scheduled to happen later this year.
