Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy praises Anand’s Super 30
Super 30 has become reference of appreciation for everyone, and now even the reputed industrialists and business identities have started looking up to this small-town institute who took the country to the storm.
Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy has heartedly appreciated the efforts made by the founder and mathematician Anand Kumar, who charged all of his interests and power into proposing technical education to the poor and underprivileged class of the society and enhancing their talents for a better success.
"He is giving voice to the youth by helping them academically," said Murthy, who also felicitated Kumar by referring to his works and helping the poor joining the mainstream industries.
"For the foundation laying function, we wanted two pioneers in their respective fields. While one of them was Murthy, another was Anand Kumar," said Murali, founder of Learners Pre-University College and previous Head of Education and Research, Infosys Technologies (China), who earned his Infosys Excellence Award for People Development and Honorary Citizen Award from Government of China.
Anand was very much overwhelmed and regarded this as an one-time opportunity. "It is bigger than any award for me, as I feel overwhelmed with his kind words," he added.
