IIT Indore attracts more attention from engineering aspirants
The students graduating from IIT Indore are in the spotlight for receiving attractive salary packages from various multinational companies and this is causing the institute to attract high level of attention from the engineering aspirants.
At this moment the institute is running at three campuses at IET building, PACL grounds and Simrol and students need to shuttle among these three campuses.
A new campus is yet to come as the project got postponed by five years. The Institute, which is scheduled to release its third batch on August 24, 2015, has just 120 seats in B-Tech courses as a result of the lack of space.
Due to an increase in the overall placement packages offered to the students of the institute being recruited through campus placements, an increasing number of students are choosing IIT-Indore as their destination for attaining higher education.
Since the institute is lacking in space and students are facing lots of problems in commuting, the officials do not comply with the idea of increasing the number of intakes in the institute.
