IIM Ahmedabad: Some changes in Selection procedure
CAT (The Common Admission Test) to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM - A) for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) for the upcoming sessions. The exam is scheduled to be held on November 29, 2015.
This year, IIM Ahmedabad has rolled out a couple of changes in the selection procedure. Selection will be done on the basis of performance of students in the Preliminary Screening followed by the academic writing test and Personal Interview. After that the final selection will be based on Final composite scores.

Aspirants can directly submit their application till September 20, 2015 for registration procedure and after that the admit cards will be available on the website from October 15, 2015. The test will be directed in two sessions, in one day. It will be held in 136 cities at 650 test centres.
The question paper will contain three sections i.e.
- Quantitative Aptitude (34 Questions)
- Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (32 Questions)
- Verbal & Reading Comprehension (34 Questions)
The duration of the exam has been increased to 10 minutes. This year, no group discussion round will be incorporated in the selection procedure at IIM Lucknow.
