ISM Dhanbad: Applications for Ph.D programmes invited
Indian School of Mine (ISM), Dhanbad has begun the application process for admission to its Ph.D. programmes for the session 2015. This institute offers Doctor of Philosophy programme with specialization in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering in both part time and full time mode.
Candidates applying for the Ph.D. programme must have an M.Tech or M.E. degree in relevant discipline. The candidate must have graduated from a recognized university with at least first class marks or CGPA of 7.0.
Students can get the application form from the official website i.e. www.ismdhanbad.ac.in. Candidates must fill the form carefully and send it with the required documents to the ‘Assistant Registrar (Acad. and Exam), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad- 826004, Jharkhand'.
The applicants must send these required documents along with proof of passing qualifying examination specifying aggregate marks and age, category certificate, offer letter and salary slip from the present company.
The applicants have to pay an amount of INR 500 (INR 300 for reserved categories). The payment must be made through a Demand Draft, drawn in favour of the 'Registrar, Indian School of Mines', and payable at Dhanbad.
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written test and personal interview.
