NIT, Warangal invites applications for PhD Programs 2015


The applications for admission to full-time and part-time PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programme have been invited by the NIT (National Institute of Technology), Warangal for the academic session commencing in December 2015. The interested and eligible candidates may apply online by clicking on the direct link provided below http://nitw.ac.in/phd2015/loginmain.php.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ph.D in Engineering-

Candidates must have completed their M.Tech or ME in first class with a CGPA (Cumulative Point Average) of at least 6.5 out of 10 (6.0 out of 10 for candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC or ST).

Or

Candidates must have acquired at least 60% marks

  • Ph.D in Science and Humanities-

Candidates must hold a valid score of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or NET (National Eligibility Test). They must have acquired M.Phil or any equivalent degree, or MA /M.Sc. /M.Sc. (Tech) or its equivalent degree.

Application Fees:

Candidates are required to pay the application fee by DD (Demand Draft), drawn in favour of ‘The Director, National Institute of Technology, Warangal', payable at SBH, NIT Warangal branch (Code No. 20149) or SBI, Battala Bazar (Code No. 07456). The application form should be sent to 'Associate Dean (Admissions), Academic Section, National Institute of Technology, Warangal 506 004'.

Selection Procedure

The final selection will be done on the basis of entrance test and interview
