Oxford University, UK: Applications invited for Scholarship
The Oxford University, UK has invited applications for Oxford-Indira Gandhi Graduate Scholarships. Students pursuing full-time master’s programmes for the academic session commencing in 2016, are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Applicants, who are citizen of India or have completed their higher studies from Indian institutes, can apply for this scholarship. There are more than two full scholarships being offered by Oxford University. The scholarship will cover expenditure related to course fees, college fees and living cost for full time students which shall amount to Â£14,057. Students pursuing part time courses will get a study support grant.
Students pursuing any one of the following master’s programme given below, are eligible for scholarship,
- MSc in Biodiversity
- Conservation and Management
- MSc in Contemporary India
- Master of Public Policy
- MSc in Water Science
- Policy and Management
- MSc in Environmental Change and Management
- MPhil in Development Studies
- Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL)
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their academic scores, understanding of the development challenges faced by India, significance of studies to the Centre's interdisciplinary aims and leadership and entrepreneurial potential.
There will be not any separate application procedure, in order to get the scholarship. Interested students must apply before the last date of application i.e. January 22, 2016.
