Applications for Short-Term Courses invited by IIT, Delhi


The applications for non-residential, short term courses have been invited by the department of management studies, IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Delhi for the upcoming session starting from 3rd-5th December, 2015. The interested candidates may submit their applications on or before 20th November 2015, (5 PM). An email notification will be send to the shortlisted candidates. The total number of seats available is 30.

With the help of these courses, the Ph.D. researchers in management or social sciences will be able to understand the fundamentals and nuances of research to advance their academic career. The applicants will be exposed to the process of reviewing literature, stages in research, publication of findings, undertaking industry or policy relevant research and different types of methods available to collect & analyze the data.

They will avail the facilities of lectures and interactive group exercises in the class room. These valuable lectures will be delivered by the faculty members of IIT Delhi and a few guest speakers from industry or academia, including Prof. Ravi Shankar, Prof. Sushil, Dr. SP Singh, Dr. Arpan Kar and Dr. Vigneswara.

The candidates are required to pay the course fee of Rs 12000, through DD (Demand Draft) in favor of “REGISTRAR, IIT DELHI”.
