GRE scores to be accepted by ISB from 2017-18
The announcement by ISB that it will start accepting GRE scores as part of its admission criteria from academic year 2017-18 is a good news for all those who want to take admission in Indian School of Business. This will become operational from 2017.In a statement which was released by the Institute on May 31 which stated that by adding GRE score to their eligibility criteria it would further make the variety in Post Graduate Programme in Management strong, and it will also tempt the applicants from pure sciences and liberal arts.
ISB also plans to enlarge its international connections to tempt potential students from Africa and the ASEAN region.
The competition this year was strong to get into the one-year PGP. A 28 percent increase in the number of applicants for its flagship one-year Post Graduate Program in Management was recorded this year. It was said by Dishan Kamdar Deputy Dean, Programmes in a release which was issued to announce the closure of the admissions for the class of 2017 that for all those experienced professionals from across the world who want to join the flagship program to improve their growth prospects ISB continues to be the source of attraction.
The School has made a record by admitting the maximum number of students to the PGP class of 2017 across its campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali which makes it as the largest class at any management school in India which offers one-Year programme.
There has been the fastest growth seen by the ISB’s PGP over the years from a class size of just 128 students in 2002 to 905 now.
ISB gives an exclusive one-year Post Graduate Programme in Management ,short duration Executive Education programmes which are for middle and senior management, for senior executives there is a part-time Post Graduate Program in Management, a five –year doctoral equivalent Fellow Program in Management and for family business there is a masters level program.
