SNAP 2016: Exam Pattern Changed

With the weightage of two sections slashed drastically the pattern of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP 2016 has been changed.

Symbiosis International University the body which conducts SNAP for 15 colleges has announced that there is a change in pattern late Tuesday.

The total marks have been reduced from 180 to 150 according to the new pattern.

There is no change in the total number of questions and the time of the exam.

Main changes in the exam pattern have been made in General Awareness and Logical Reasoning sections.

The number of sections have been reduced from 40 to 30 in the General Awareness section .Each question will carry 1 mark like the previous papers.

The number of questions have been increased from 30 to 40 in the logical Reasoning  but the marks have been reduced from 60 to 40.Each question from the LR section carried 2 marks which would give it maximum weightage (60 marks)in the question paper. Every LR question will carry only 1 mark from this year onwards,

In the English and Data Interpretation sections there is no change.

Important points:

  •  From 2pm to 4 pm i.e. 120 minutes the SNAP 2016 will be conducted
  • In pen and paper mode the exam will be conducted.
  • Along with each question four options shall be provided-the candidate has to select only one correct answer from the questions given.
  • The answer should be marked using black or blue ball point only by the candidates.
  • For every incorrect answer there is 25% negative marking.
  • Registration for the SNAP 2016 has started. On December 18, 2016 the exam is going to be held. On January 9, 2017 the results will be announced.
