Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering was established in 1984 and is affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University and has its approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The undergraduate programs offered are Bachelor degree for Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Postgraduate programs in M.E (Computer Science and Engineering and Energy Engineering under Mechanical Engineering) and M.B.A and M.C.A.
