Limited accommodation is available at the boys and girls hostel on the campus. However, the administration office at SSE assists students with information regarding the accommodation available in the vicinity.
Established under Section 3of the UGC Act 1956, Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE) is a constituent of Symbiosis International University. The school is engaged in providing higher education in Economics offering a comprehensive range of specializations in different aspects of economics. In addition to the B.Sc. in Economics and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Governance, SSE has introduced a M.Sc. Degree in Economics. The M.Sc. degree will offer specialization in International Trade and Development Studies. Apart from these, SSE also offers Certificate Course in Quantitative Techniques. Blessed by a team of highly qualified pool of faculty with extensive academic and practical experience, the programmes offered at Symbiosis School of Economics follows a rigorous curriculum and innovative teaching and assessment methods. On top of this, SSE provides one of the best infrastructural facilities that include ICT enabled lecture halls, library, Wi-Fi enabled campus, etc. Symbiosis School of Economics also maintains strong ties with globally renowned academic institutions like London School of Economics and NTU Singapore, etc.
The programmes offered at SSE presents a strong foundation in economic theory and practice alongside an inter-disciplinary coursework. Symbiosis School of Economics also follows Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system where grades will be awarded on the basis of class average. Every semester has six papers with both internal and external evaluation of 40 and 60 marks respectively. A student would be required to pass in each head (internal and external) independently. A is required to perform consistently well.
