Institute Description

Delhi School of Journalism and Mass Communication is a unique initiative to redefine the way television  journalism  and production which includes Anchoring and Reporting, TV Production, Camera and Lighting and Editing on Final Cut Pro (FCP) is taught to give that extra edge to students who want to be part of  one of the  fastest growing sectors in India.Even in this bleak economic scenario India will see the launch of over 250 channels in the next three years.

The courses  have  been  designed by TV  professionals lead  by Arjun  Bhagat and academics keeping in  consideration the rapid pace of change  be  it technology or the skills required to work in state of the art television production houses and channels. The general experiance has been that students do complete courses in media from a plethora of institutes with no discernable skills or actual hands on TV experiance due to paucity of equipment. At DSJMC we will stress on the practical side of TV-real hands on experiance with reporting ,cameras ,editing equipment and vision with a series of exercises to hone and perfect skills whether its writing or cameras. skills that are crucial when it comes to getting a good job and making a career in the world of TV Journalism.
