It was established in 1994 with the objective of improving the classroom performance of school children and improving the participation and performance of minority candidates in competitive examinations.
English Language Training Centre
It was established in 1988, a number of Workshops have been organized on various aspects of English Language Teaching with experts drawn from U.K. and U.S.A.
The Department of Physical Education existed since the inception of Arts College to promote indoor and outdoor games.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The NSS Cell conducts Special Camps in 6 (six) districts i.e. Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda and Nizamabad for promoting welfare of society.
Convocation: Graduation Ceremony is celebrated annually, usually during May-July. This event gives opportunity to interact with the fellow-degree holders and The Chancellor of the University gives away the degrees.

OU offers following Scholarships:
1. In the recent past the Directorate convened Mega Placements for 1000 vacancies for graduate trainees on behalf of Vedanta Aluminum Ltd with the assistance of Directorate of Admissions, OU.
2. Organized Two Road Shows at University college for Women on behalf of Wipro technologies for their EARN WHILE TO LEARN SCHEME under Wipro Academy for Software Excellence program (WASE) for the Academic Year 2009-10 batch.
3. The college on its own has been making almost 100% placements at B.Tech level excluding the students who wish to pursue their studies abroad or pursue further studies in India.
