Women’s Christian College was established with a mission to provide high-level education of arts and science to girls in India. Since then the college has succeeded in its mission of NAAC providing it with A grade accreditation in 2012. The college has a beautiful and spacious campus located on 20 acres of land in Chennai city. College has 6 hostels located on its campus to provide accommodation facilities to out station girl students. College offers several Self – financed and Government aided programs that include undergraduate, postgraduate and Research courses. In addition to this college also offers American Transfer Program to eligible students. The college has been adopted as sister concern by Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, USA, and it helps the college by regularly sending financial aid.

The college has well experienced and highly educated teachers. Also, the students and teacher ratio in the college is 18:1 which means for every 18 students there is 1 teacher. Only a few colleges can boast of such a ratio.
College provides state-of-the art infrastructural facilities. College also has excellent Sports facilities. College also has a beautifully built State of the art Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000 persons to organize different events.
Events and Activities:
In addition to excellent education college also believes in helping students to explore their other talents too. The college organizes its annual cultural event “FESTEVE” every year which includes events like Debate, Quiz, Creative writing, Pot Pourri, etc. Another event on the same lines is organized every year known as “Mount Holyoke Culturals”. It also has many Clubs like Dance, Dramatics, Arts, Music, etc. They organize competitions and events in the college from time to time.
