Vidyalankar Institute of International Education has a sprawling 11-acre campus, well-equipped to provide a progressive learning environment to its students. The structure is grand, aesthetic and regal, and includes well-furnished classrooms with advanced teaching aids, thirteen high-tech computer stations with 400 SUN, Macintosh Work Stations, and a Central Library with extensive collection of technical books, national and international academic journals and newspapers.
The library has terminals with Internet for web research and designated areas for silent study as well as group work. All the laboratories have latest equipments.
Vidyalankas has an excellent cafeteria with affordable and hygienic food items that cater to different tastes. In Mumbai, where distances matter, a good cafeteria is a lifeline for students. VIIE has provisions for both Indoor and Outdoor Games for holistic development of students.
Besides the huge play ground, there is a Sports Centre with all the facilities for weightlifting and gymnastics. The Health Centre at the institute offers first-aid to students on campus and can direct them for further treatment, if necessary. A small cooperative store at the campus offers affordable stationary items, such as CDs, pens, pencils, erasers, and markers.
Students can also participate in the social activities, write in college magazine 'Expressions' and be a part of the Annual Social Program, Annual Technical Festival, and other Intra and Inter-Collegiate Competitions at the VIIE Cultural Centre. Friday Paath-shala offers a break to students and let them express their non-academic talents in the form of dance workshops, debates and musical jams. Thought - provoking movies are also screened at the amphitheatre from time to time.
Vidyalankar Institute of International Education or VIIE has tied up with several well-established and prestigious American Universities, such as Pennsylavania State University, York and California State University; and renowned UK universities such as Aston University and Sheffield Hallam University. This has empowered it to offer quality Information Technology and Management programs to Indian students interested in getting a Baccalaureate degree, which has international acceptance.
Vidyalankar students have an advantage over other Indian students as they get to experience American education and culture right in their homeland.
The program provides a unique opportunity to Indian students to benefit from both the systems of education at the undergraduate level itself and thus acquire the skills necessary to meet the challenges of tomorrow's globally competitive world.
Penn State University's York campus was inaugurated in 1956. At present, the York campus sits on more than 50 acres of land and enrolls about 1600 students. At VIIE, Penn State York offers its resources as a major research university and helps in building the atmosphere of an elite private university for students enrolled at the institute.
More than hundred students are enrolled in the Information Science and Technology (IST) programs at York, situated in the well-equipped M.S. Grumbacher Information Sciences and Technology Centre.
The feature I liked the most is that the PSU students would be seated in a different classroom for PSU subjects, reducing the Teacher-Student ratio, allowing the teacher to ensure that every student was able to comprehend the lessons. Secondly the book service from the library helped a lot during our exams.

I am really thankful to Vidyalankar for providing us an excellent faculty. The faculty members always helped us in every situation. The non-teaching staff was also very cooperative and always had solutions to all our problems. Apart from the regular subjects, we had an excellent opportunity to learn Psychology, Economics, Yoga etc... We had a wide range of books to refer to in our library. The Verve Festival which is the college annual cultural program and the Fervour - the technical festival gave us excellent opportunity to display our talent. Apart from this, I really appreciate the assistance we got from Vidyalankar who offered us all the help we needed. Vidyalankar staff was always there whenever we had any doubts, for example for filling forms or fixing dates for visa interview or every other kind of guidance we required.
