Shri Pillappa College of Engineering was established in the 2012 providing education in the field of engineering where we offer in various streams such as Computer Science Engineering,?Mechanical engineering,?Civil engineering,?, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. We have well qualified and experienced faculty members. We provide separate hostel for boys and girls with hygienic food and security.

Institute Description

18 Acres sprawling green campus of SPCE at Bangalore. Realizing the Education Fundamental for the Complete Development of Nations & Individuals.SPCE realize that the education is the fundamental aspect for the complete development of an Individual and in turn as a Nation.

Keeping this in mind, the institute have started a premier Institute since 2012-13 and endeavor to harness this inherent potential through meeting the growing needs of higher education. As we grow, we will be expanding into different branches of technical education, comprising of different technologies, methodologies, discipline, resources and even attitudes.

To achieve this, SPCE will ensure the highest academic quality in terms of faculty, resources and infrastructure. This will be focused onto academic excellence and versatility which will meet the ever increasing needs of the students. All these are reflections of SPCE responsibility to build a society that is vibrant and growing through knowledge sharing.

Hostel Details

SPCE provides hostel facilites to both boys and girls. It includes, spacious rooms with attached bathrooms shared among two people, peroidic maintenance of rooms, hygenic food, Wi-Fi enabled among hostel premises.

Infrastructure / Teaching Facilities

Central Computing Facility

SPCE has a centralized computing facility provided through a hi-speed dedicated leased line internet connection. The campus is also Wi Fi enabled providing continous access to the college network. In addition, the college boasts a state of the art computer lab available for access by all the students.

Central Library

The library is the major source of information for students and staff members. It is planned to establish a good library in terms of the different volumes of books available to students and staff. Reference section would also be provided to students to use library apart from lending books for home study. The library should have accessibility to internet and also from the beginning of the college itself the system should be completely automated.

Canteen

There is a healthy and hygienic canteen facility inside the college premises. The canteen is spacious enough for pupils to move about and take their seats. The food articles provided are of very low price and full of nourishment. The canteen services are properly supervised by the food committee from time to time.

Transportation

The college has provided transportation facilities to all students and staff members for commuting from various points in the city and also from the suburbs.


Medical Facility

For the protection, preservation and promotion of health, a well organized programme of health instruction is essential for the students. The college provides medical facilities and health education program for the benefit of the students. The college invites a medical officer or a registered medical practitioner from time to time to examine the students health. A record of the medical service is maintained properly. The college also organizes Yoga and Meditation programmes by experts for the all round development of the students.

Scholarships

Scholarships should be highlighted to the students to meet their minimum requirements for the needy students. Also it is proposed from the management side to support a fixed number of students every year to meet the students' tuition fees.

SPCE campus is equipped with wi-fi which provides  24*7  internet facility to students without any charges.
