JEE Main 2015 is an undergraduate level entrance exam basically held within the premises of Engineering. It is a commonly held exam and comprises of two entrance stages:

  • JEE-Main 2015: Supervised and Conducted under CBSE for NITs, CFTIs admissions
  • JEE-Advanced 2015
  • The basic educational prerequisite necessary for appearing in the Mains 2015 comprises of XII passing certificate in the final board exams or any comparable qualification preferred equivalent to it. Those appearing in either of these types can too coordinate and appear in JEE Mains 2015 examination conditionally.
  • Applicants must clear all of the major 5 subjects featured within class XII, and those will be rejected who have cleared their secondary examinations with 4 subjects as their leading one in 2013/14.
  • Applicants cleared in 2012 or before that are unlikely to appear in the examination. Students passing their XII in 2013-14 are only entitled to apply.
  • Date of Birth should reside on or after October 1, 1990. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/ PwD is granted, i.e. till 1985.
  • Only a maximum of 3 attempts are provided to candidates for JEE Main.

Note: Maharashtra, Odisha and Gujarat will administer their criteria as per their previous practices and performances.

Selection procedure depends on the calculation based on All India Ranks calculated with the JEE main 2015 Scores along with equating marks occupied in Class XII in the ratio of 60:40.

  • Candidates applying for JEE (Main) -2015 have to operate on an online basis only, and the process initiated from November 7, 2014.
  • Fill up the form.
  • Upload JPEG files of Photo, signature and left thumb imprint via Scanning.
  • Proceed with the cost of the examination via Credit/Debit Card or through e-Challan provided by Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank/ICICI Bank.
  • Save and download the Accredited Receipt and keep it with yourself. It should not be sending at any cost to JEE Main Office.
  • Last date of submission and uploading the images and submitting has been protracted till December 26, 2014.

  • Last year, JEE Main 2014 Application Form was available only via online mode. Applicants had to complete every task of uploading photos and filling out forms as specified without sending out any detail to JEE Main office.
  • JEE Main System was incurred by Maharashtra and Odisha along with Gujarat as a pioneer in conducting engineering entrance Exams in 2014.
  • 13 Lakh and above students appeared for JEE Main out of which 1.5 Lakh students progressed for JEE Advanced exam, within top five states, i.e. Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Bihar.
