Amrita University conducts Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) 2015 on undergraduate level, and is the major advancement towards various engineering courses applied and circulated within three enlarged campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham leads this entrance exam every year on All India basis for 4 year B.Tech. Degree programs (2015-19), and counseling sessions are based on their AEEE-2015 Rankings.

From this current year, Amrita University will hold Computer Based Tests/Examinations (CBT), and AEEE 2015 CBTs will be held in 97 academic hubs all over India.

  • Candidates must be born on or after July 1, 1994.
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • They must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
  • A minimum of 55% is mandatory in the individual subjects of Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
  • Candidates with a minimum of 60% in a three year diploma in engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education are also eligible.
  • Duration of Examination: 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • The AEEE 2015 Question Paper will be entitled with 100 questions with a sum total of 300 marks as follows:
  1. Mathematics - 40 questions
  2. Physics - 30 questions
  3. Chemistry - 30 questions

For every correct answer 3 marks will be awarded, and for every wrong answer, there would be a deduction of 1 mark each.

Amrita University has provided the aspirants with options of applying:

  • Via Online Mode: Application can be filled and downloaded and payment can be made via Net Banking.
  • Via Post/Demand Draft: Application can be made by the consent of Admission Coordinators of three campuses and their full communicative address with a request letter and DD.
  • From the University Counter: From any campus counter by showcasing the DD you have made.
  • From any form outlet at Rs. 1,000 (Application Fees)

The charge follows up raises up to Rs.5000 sanctioned by demand draft, and selected candidates have to attend the sessions as per the schedules mentioned. It will be held in two sectors, Open Category & State Quota (candidates hailing from Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka), and it’s mandatory for Candidates to attend the counseling by themselves by being present at the desired venue along with specific documents.
