The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is organized and directed by IIT Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India on an All India basis with an objective to supervise the aptitude and interest in designing, graphic insight capability, drawing skills and logical intellectual, and creativity and communication skills involved as well. The exam takes place so as to offer admissions for Master in Designing and Ph.D. in Designing.

  • Candidates may keep in mind that the mode of answer would remain English.
  • Question paper will comprise of two parts A and B.

It is required for the candidates to complete or expected to fulfill any of the following option by July 2015:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture/Design/Interior Design or equivalent degree
  • A  Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent)
  • B.F.A.
  • G.D. Art (5 year program after 10th) with one year expert involvement on professional front.
  • A Master’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications

Note: All of the above mentioned curriculum must be of 4 years and above.

Some Important Points:

  • Candidates obtaining a three year graduation degree are not suitable to apply for the CEED 2015 exam.
  • No age constraint is set up for CEED 2015 exam attempt.
  • Also, there is also no restriction mentioned for the number of attempts for the CEED exam.
