Centralized Admission Committee Admission test (CENTAC) 2015 is conducted by Pondicherry Engineering College Campus located in Pondicherry and offer several undergraduate course admissions within the interface of Engineering, Nursing, Medical Science, and Pharmacy with 7 institutes participating within this process.

A sum total of Rs.1000 is payable for General category students, and the reserved one has to pay Rs.500 as the total amount. The fee structure changes according to your choice:

  • For one course is `500/- (for SC/ST`250/-)
  • For two courses is `750/ – (for SC / ST – 375/-)
  • For three courses is ` 1000/- (for SC/ST -500/-)

The fee can be deposited through DD drawn in favor of the Convener, CENTAC payable at Pondicherry.

  • The applicant must have passed in 10+2 with Physic and chemistry as compulsory subjects and passed under the affiliation from a recognized board.
  • The minimum age should not be less than 17 years and must not exceed more than 25 years at max. Age Relaxation will be provided by the government itself.
  • Applicant must possess Indian nationality. However, French residents staying up at the union territory of Pondicherry and covered under the terms and conditions of the Treaty of Cession would be considered at par with Indian Nationals and eligible for admissions.
  • Candidates seeking for B.Tech admissions must clear their 10+2 or equivalent exam affiliated under Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu with a minutest of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) as aggregate, with compulsory subjects Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects such as Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Selection will take place based on marks secured in JEE Main 2015 and seats will be allotted accordingly only.
