Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) integrates with Delhi Technological University (DTU) & Joint Admission Committee so as to conduct IIIT Delhi 2015 B.Tech Admission Programs and provide efficient admissions within the genre of Engineering and Science. The admissions shall be decided on the basis of JEE Main 2015 & marks scored in 10+2 and entrance exam is conducted on state level so as to offer best curriculum and syllabus for integrated bachelor programs.

The admissions shall be decided on the basis of JEE Main 2015 & marks scored in 10+2 and entrance exam is conducted on state level so as to offer best curriculum and syllabus for integrated bachelor programs.

  • Maximum age limit exceeds to 25 years.
  • Candidates must obtain an aggregate of 80% or above marks in their 10+2, with special mentioning to Maths, being acknowledged via ICSE/IB/CBSE.
  • Scoring relaxation is provided for special category.
  1. 10% relaxation- SC/ST category candidates
  2. 5% of marks- CW candidates
  3. 5% of marks - PH candidates
  4. 5% of marks- OBC candidates
  • Courses offered through this entrance exam include Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in various disciples.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates applying for the entrance exam must be 10+2 or equivalent passed and recognized from any central or state board of education.
  • 80% or more is a must as an aggregate in 5 qualifying subjects, Physics, Math, Chemistry and other two optional subjects
  • 80% or above is required in Maths individually.
  • Age must reside in between 17-25 years as on 1 October 2015.
  • Marks obtained in JEE Main & 12th would be considered in a proportion of 60-4 respectively.
  • The terms and criteria for JEE Main must be fulfilled appropriately and a valid rank must be achieved in JEE 2015 as well.
  • A all-around bonus of 10 marks will be allotted in the final score if the applicant is an eligible participant of

Candidates are eligible to apply for IIIT-D by filling two forms:

  • JEE Main 2015 Application Form
  • IIIT-D 2015 Application Form

These forms must be filled and all the details, uploading, document must be attached and met so as to sanction it for further approvals.

  • Application fee is payable via HDFC Challan or via Debit/Credit Card through HDFC payment access.
  • A copy of application form must be kept for future preferences.
  • Keep a track of your application number while submission.
  • Keep a printout of application form and it must be produced at the time of counseling and document verification.
  • E-receipt as received must be kept safely.

Results are declared on the basis of merit list and scores are calculated and modeled accordingly:

  • Marks in JEE Main 2015 Paper 1 and score of class XII, converted to base of 60 and 40 respectively as per the normalization method.
  • For Delhi applicants – Direct conversion of class XII marks.
  • For outside Delhi applicants – JEE Main 2015 Normalized Marks.
  • Bonus marks as defined above (maximum of 10 marks).
  • Counseling date has not been scheduled till now and will be announced via main website only. Selected candidates have the full access to merit list for assurance.
  • Seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit list ranking and candidate’s section.
  • Candidates hailing from Delhi must be present during the counseling as it is utterly important ad mandatory. However, this rule does not apply on candidates residing outside Delhi and is optional.
  • A waiting list will be created after seat allotment.
  • A total of 4 rounds comprises of counseling session.
  • Candidates must report to the counseling venue with their documents and sheets for verification purposes.
