Mr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, represents being the existing Chancellor of IIST. IIST 2015 required no entrance exam and accepts admissions based on JEE Advanced merit list ranking.

 

IIST 2015 or JEE Main 2015 Application Form Submission will be available till 18th December

  • Candidates must meet the criteria for JEE Advanced so as to apply for IIST UG 2015 Admissions.
  • An aggregate of 20% must be secured in JEE Advanced, with 5% scored in all subjects. Reserved category will be offered with relaxation as per the notice issued.
  • Candidate must score an Indian Residency.
  • Date of birth must lie on or after 1st October 1990. SC, ST and PWD candidates will be relaxed to a certain level.
  • Candidates must clear their qualifying exam with a minimum of 70% (60% for SC, ST, and PWD) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • General/OBC for Male: Rs 600/-
  • General/OBC for Female: Rs 300/-
  • ST/ST/PD for both Male and Female: Rs 300/

Mode of Payment:

Forms must be submitted via online mode, and provide the university with application fee payment made via Bank Challan submitted at selective divisions of State Bank of India or Union Bank.
