Karnataka PGCET 2015 comprises being a respective part of academic examination patterns followed in India for admissions within M.Tech/ M.E courses in Karnataka. Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority so as to check the intellectual and aptitude levels of candidates and offer best admissions for courses which are related to Engineering and offered within the premises of Karnataka.

·         Applicants should be cleared in B.Tech/B.E or equivalent examination and must score a minimum of 50% marks as cumulative (45% for SC, ST and Category-I candidates).

·         Candidates must have studied for at least 7 years and above starting from class I till the suitable exam.

·         Candidates must satisfy the residential requirements.

·         Applicants who have achieved a valid GATE score are exempted from the examination and will be provided with direct admissions.

·         Total number of Questions: 75

·         Part 1: 50 questions of 1 mark each

·         Part 2: 25 questions of 2 marks each

·         Total Marks= 100

·         Duration: 120 minutes.

·         Application form is available online from the official website and must be filled carefully with appropriate details and documents intact.

·         A scanned copy of their currently clicked photograph and signature must be affixed.

·         Fee application must be paid on-time and as specified below:

1.       Enter all the details regarding application fee payment before submitting the form.

2.       Total fees to be paid amounts to Rs.650 (Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka).

3.       Fees can be paid via cash and at any division of State Bank of Mysore or at any E-Payment Pot Offices.

·         Candidates must meet the document verification criteria as per the given schedule.

·         Candidates must appear in counseling sessions individually with their respective original documents as asked.

·         Counseling comprises of two rounds in total.

·         Seats will be allotted on the basis of Karnataka PGCET 2015 Ranks and qualifying exams.
