This is a state level exam that is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) to facilitate the admission procedure for post graduate management courses (MBA/MMS courses) in the state of Maharashtra for various management institutes. The registration window opens on 18th February 2015 and remains open till 27th February 2015 and the examination will be held on 14th and 15th March 2015.

The candidate appearing for this examination must have a graduation degree from a recognized university in any discipline or from Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and should have obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate (for candidates belonging to the reserved categories the minimum marks obtained is 45%).

After filling up of the application forms the admission process continues through the counseling process which includes general group discussions and personal interviews which are conducted by the DTE for shortlisted candidates.

The MAH CET exam contains 4 different sections in a question paper containing a total of 200 questions. Quantitative Aptitude, Data Insufficiency/Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Reasoning are the four sections in which the candidate’s aptitude is measured in this exam. This exam is a paper-pencil based exam that is of a duration of 150 Minutes.

The application process happens online for MAH CET exam. Firstly, all the details regarding candidate’s personal information, education and qualifications etc. are filled.  Then, candidate’s scanned images are  uploaded. The whole application process ends with the payment of exam fee.

The registration fee for MAH CET 2015 is around INR 1000 for the candidates belonging to the general category and INR 800 for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

The admit cards containing details of the exam and the information regarding the candidate can be downloaded from 15th March 2015 onwards from the website.

The declaration of results will be made on 25th March 2015

Many B-Schools including the Top B-Schools in Maharashtra accept the MAH CET scores secured by the candidates for the admission procedure. Some of the institutes are JBIMS, KJSIMSR, SIMSREE, DMS (PUMBA), ITM, Prin LN Welingkar Institute for Management Development and Research and many more.
