To screen students for the Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) and Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM), a written examination is conducted by the Institute of Rural Management, Anand.

The candidates appearing for the IRMA exam must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university and must have also scored an aggregate of not less than 50% marks. The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/DAP get a relaxation of 5 % (i.e. the minimum marks scored should be not less than 45%).
Starting from 15th September 2014, the application form have been made available in both online and offline mode. After filling the application form, the students are also required to submit the examination fee for the successful submission of the application. 15th December 2014 would be the last date for online registration. Hard copy form are also available at the IRMA Admission Office and the last date to do so is 8th December 2014.
The shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of the CAT 2014 scores who will then have to appear for the IRMA admission test on Issues of Social Concern. 25th January is the date for the said exam.
A total of 40 questions will be there in IRMA 2015 question paper. This exam will be of the duration of 25 minutes and it will also be a computer-based exam. The questions present will be objective type questions in which each question will be followed by 5 options.
Only once the exam is over will the results for the IRMA 2015 test on Social Concerns will be declared.
