The IBS Aptitude Test 2014 is a national level post graduate MBA entrance examination for admissions into MBA programmes offered by the various campuses of IBS Business School and ICFAI University. The exam is conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education for admissions into management programmes at IBS Business School.

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and must have also obtained an aggregate of not less than 50% marks with medium of instruction as English. The students pursuing graduation and are in the final year may also apply to appear in the exam. 

The candidates can fill the application form for the IBSAT exam through both online as well as offline mode. By making a payment of INR 1500, the candidates can get the offline forms. The registration process started on 15th July 2014 and will continue till 5th December 2014.

The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their scores and then it is followed by the group discussions and personal interviews for which the candidates must have to appear at one of the 8 campuses of the IBS Business Schools. However, the final selection offers are made after taking into account the previous academic performance as well as the performance of the candidates in the Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

The paper set for the IBSAT exam is a computer-based exam that consists of objective type multiple choice questions which belong to the topics like Quantitative Technique, Data Interpretation, Data Adequacy, Vocabulary, Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. This paper contains a total of 120 questions and the candidate will get 120 minutes to attempt the whole paper.

The admit card for IBSAT 2014 will be made available for the candidates after the completion of application procedure. The admit card will be made available through online or post.

The declaration of results for IBSAT 2014 was done on 14th January 2015 which was 5 days earlier than the original schedule.

IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai, IBS Pune, IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur will be the eight institutes that will consider the scores obtained by the candidates in the IBSAT 2015 exam.
