The Symbiosis International University offers Post graduate management program in management and conducts a national level exam SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) to screen candidates and their aptitudes to predict their performance in the MBA programs offered by the B-Schools under this University.
SNAP is an exam that is conducted by Symbiosis International University which is a national level exam conducted once in a year. SNAP is a paper-pencil based exam which was held on 21st December 2014. A common application process for all B-Schools under the Symbiosis International University was started since last year.

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and must have also obtained an aggregate of not less than 50% marks. The students pursuing graduation and are in the final year may also apply to appear in the exam. SC/ST candidates should have an aggregate of not less than 45% marks.
The registration form for SNAP 2014 was available online from 3rd September 2014 to 26th November 2014. After filling the application form, the candidates are also expected to make a payment for the Exam as well as the B-Schools of their choice. The fee payment can be done through Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking.

The SNAP exam is a paper-pencil based test which has a total of 150 questions. The candidate is given 120 minutes in all to attempt the whole question paper. The question paper comprises of 4 different sections that are General English, Quantitative Data Interpretation, General Awareness and Analytical-Logical Reasoning. Section I,II and III contains 40 questions each whereas the last section contains 30 questions.
On the basis of the marks scored by the candidates, the shortlisting of candidates is done by the Symbiosis International University conducting the SNAP which is followed by the Personal Interviews (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) of the shortlisted candidates. A final merit list containing the names of the selected candidates is published after taking into consideration of the performances of candidates in all the rounds as well as SNAP and past academic performances.
The result of SNAP 2015 was declared as per schedule that will be announced by the examination conducting authority.
A total of 13 B-Schools that come under the Symbiosis International University, Pune use the SNAP scores to facilitate the admission procedure for different MBA programs.
