The prestigious Delhi University offers a bachelor’s degree in management studies (BMS) which is a highly valued course and the selection of candidates for this course is done by conducting an exam called the DU BMS Common Entrance Test.

The DU BMS CET is a paper-pencil based entrance exam that is conducted to select candidates for the BMS course offered at 6 colleges that are a part of the Delhi University. A total of 840 seats that are offered are filled through this test.

The candidates appearing  for the DU BMS CET must have passed XII standard and must have also obtained an aggregate of not less than 60% marks.

For SC/ST candidates the minimum aggregate score obtained should be not less than 50% and for the candidates belonging to the CW/PWD categories the minimum marks obtained should not be less than 54%. 

The DU BMS NET is a national level entrance exam that aims to gauge the aptitude of the candidate appearing for the exam in the fields of General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Sufficiency, General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning. These are the four sections into which the whole paper will be divided which will have a total of 100 questions. The whole paper carries 300 marks. The candidate will be awarded 3 marks for every correct answer and a deduction of 1 mark will be made for every wrong answer. The total duration given to complete the paper is 120 minutes (2 Hours). 

For the BMS program offered by the Delhi University, selection depends on the performance in the entrance exam as well as on the merit. 50% weightage is given to each factor.

The candidates aspiring to do BMS course offered by the Delhi University must go to the official website and fill the online application form. After filling the application form, the candidates must make a payment for the examination.

For general and OBC category- INR 500

For SC/ST/PWD category- INR 250

The Admit Card contains the Name of the candidate, Roll Number, Photo, Signature, Examination Venue and Date of the examination and it will be sent via e-mail to the eligible candidates.
