The Karnataka Religious & Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA) conducts a qualifying examination to facilitate the admission process for the post graduate degree and diploma courses in medical and dental science programs offered by the member institutions of KRLMPCA in Karnataka state.

The candidates who want to apply for this examination must have a citizenship of India and must also have passed the MBBS/BDS degree from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI). The fulfilling of all admission requirements by the candidate as stated by the Medical Council of India or the Dental Council of India is also mandatory.

The KRLMPCA-PGCET is a paper-pencil based examination which will contain a total of 200 questions. All these questions are multiple choice questions. The total time given to the candidates to attempt the whole paper is 180 minutes (3 hours). The candidates must score not less than 50% of the total marks in this exam to be eligible for the next stage of admission process.

After the examination, the shortlisting of candidates and the allotment of seats for medical and dental courses will take place on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates. Rank list containing the names of candidates who scored above 50% of marks will be created by the examination conducting institution. 

The application form for the exam is made available on the official website of KRLMPCA. The candidates can visit the website and download the form and fill it. After filling up the form the candidates must send it to the admission office along with the payment for the examination which can be done through a demand draft of INR 1500. The details for the same can be found on the official website. 

The admit card for the KRLMPCA PGCET exam will not be sent by post to the candidates. To get the admit card the candidates must visit the official website of the association and download it.
